The 45th Annual Telluride Jazz Festival is almost here and we have everything you need to know to get ready! There are special events to complement the world-class music and the festival is full of fun opportunities to make life-long friends and memories. Telluride also offers outstanding dining, shopping, outdoor recreation and sightseeing opportunities to make the most out of your time here. To ensure that you have the best experience possible, our staff has put together a comprehensive festival guide of pro tips, tricks, and how-to’s for the most epic weekend ever.
Morning Jam At The Transfer Warehouse
Start your Telluride Jazz Festival mornings off with live jazz music at Morning Jam at the Telluride Transfer Warehouse. Attendees can enjoy performance lead by students from Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse in the heart of downtown Telluride, steps away from the “Society Stage” at Elks Park and minutes away from the Telluride Town Park Main Stage. All musicians are welcome and encouraged to join in on the jam for an improvisational performance to get their day swinging. The jam will be will be first come first play, with a sign up sheet. The music-jams will go from 9 - 10 am on both Saturday August 13 and Sunday August 14 and is open to the public.
Register Your RFID Wristbands For Cashless Payments
The new RFID system allows attendees to use their wristbands to purchase food, drinks and merch with the tap of a wrist, skip the lines at the box office, streamline movement between each area of the festival, and enjoy the elevated comfort of the soft cloth wristband material. Before you enter the festival, you must complete your MANDATORY wristband activation and register it with the correct attendee name and information.

Join The New Orleans 2nd Line Parade At Telluride Jazz Festival
As a nod to the historic jazz culture of the Crescent City, we’ll be hosting our annual Second Line Parade down Main Street all the way to Telluride Town Park on Sunday, August 14 at noon. Join The Hooligans Brass Band, the Festival staff, attendees, and festival artists for a celebratory kick-off to the final day of the 2022 Telluride Jazz Festival. The parade starts at 12 pm from Elks Park (located across from the courthouse on Colorado Avenue).

Meet the Poster Artist Ann Krasner
The Telluride Jazz Festival, Telluride Society for Jazz and the Elinoff Gallery is excited to welcome artist Ann Krasner back to the festival for a second year in a row! More than just creating the painting used in the lineup poster, Krasner's art will be featured on festival merch pieces, the souvenir poster and souvenir laminates. Additionally Ann Krasner will be at the 2022 Festival with paintings, her beautiful sculpture work and more.
Free "First Note" Yoga Sessions At The 2022 Telluride Jazz Festival
Start your Telluride Jazz Festival mornings off right with First Note Yoga! Enjoy a fluid yoga flow, activating breath practice, liberating movement and playful exercises to discover new realms of embodied pleasure. The Motet Special Guests Announced
The 2022 Telluride Jazz Festival artist lineup expands with the announcement of The Motet special guests Jennifer Hartswick (of Trey Anastasio Band), Shira Elias (formerly of Turkuaz) and Jason Hann (of The String Cheese Incident)! These guests will join The Motet for two funky and improvisational sets- Saturday, August 13 on the Main Stage and Sunday, August 14 for the “Final Waltz Closing Show at the Sheridan Opera House.
