Telluride Jazz Festival is right around the corner and wristbands have started to ship out! Register yours and go cashless! New for 2023, we are proud to introduce the Chair Rental Program at Telluride Jazz Festival! Nothing beats the feeling of enjoying the music, food, drinks and scenery from the comfort of your own chair while you relax, stretch out your legs and enjoy the cool mountain air on those hot summer days. Enjoy the peace of mind of having a designated, comfortable spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy the music! Reserve your low-back chairs in advance and pick them up near the Festival entrance. When the streets come alive with the sound of Jazz! Join us for "Jazz On Main" on August 10th from 4-6 pm, to kick off the 46th Annual Telluride Jazz Festival. Four lively venues, conveniently located within walking distance of each-other on Main Street will host a variety of live jazz bands. Making for a truly vibrant Main Street atmosphere as the town of Telluride fills with energy. The perfect way to set the mood for a weekend of world-class music, mountains and great memories. Jazz On Main is free and open to the public.
Become a part of the Festival - Join our team and volunteer with us! We're looking for reliable, hardworking and fun-loving individuals to join our team. Volunteer for two shifts and earn a 3-Day festival pass, staff t-shirt, make new friends and be a part of the "behind the scenes" action. All you have to do is fill out the application and choose the shifts and department that you'd like to join (box office, customs, park operations). Get the details and apply now!
Dance, sing, and march your way through the heart of Telluride! One of the weekend highlights is the New Orleans 2nd Line Parade on Sunday at 12 pm. As a nod to the rich music heritage of the Crescent City, we host our very own 2nd Line Parade on Sunday of the festival weekend to kick off the final day of events. Join the Hooligans Brass Band along with festival staff, attendees, and artists for a lively parade down Main Street all the way to the festival entrance. Everyone is welcome! Colorful floats, costumes, beads and decorations are all welcome as attendees join in on the march through town. Grab your friends and family, put on your dancing shoes, and join us for a celebration unlike any other.

Earning a spot on this esteemed ensemble not only grants you access to one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in the world, but also gives you a chance to work with some of the most renowned names in the industry, collaborate with other music students, perform on the Main Stage and more. Think you have what it takes? Audition now, set your future in motion and join the ranks of many other All-Stars who’ve made a meaningful career in music. Applications close on June 15!
If you have an instrument and love playing it, come join us for a jam session! Bring your horn and get ready to play with other musicians. Start your Telluride Jazz Festival mornings off with live jazz music at Morning Jam at the Telluride Arts HQ on Main Street. Attendees can enjoy performances led by students from Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse in the heart of downtown Telluride, steps away from the “Society Stage” at Elks Park and minutes away from the Telluride Town Park Main Stage. All musicians are welcome and encouraged to join in on the jam for an improvisational performance to get their day swinging. The jam will be first come first play, with a sign up sheet. The music jams will go from 9 - 10 am on both Saturday August 12 and Sunday August 13 and are open to the public.
