Register Your RFID Wristbands And Go Cashless

Telluride Jazz Festival is right around the corner and wristbands have started to ship out! Register yours and go cashless!

Use your wristband to purchase food, drinks and merch with the tap of a wrist, skip the lines at the box office and streamline movement between each area of the festival. The wristbands use passive RFID technology - meaning they only carry a small amount of data. If anyone loses their wristband, our team will be able to look it up and remotely deactivate it so it does not fall into the wrong hands.

Step 1: Click here to activate and register your wristband!

Before you enter the festival, you must complete your MANDATORY wristband activation and register it with the correct attendee name and information. Your wristband is your investment, so secure it to avoid any issues. This is your access into the festival. Don’t lose it! Each wristband package shipped will include detailed instructions on the proper procedure for registering and using your wristband. It is important that you read these instructions and follow them exactly. Wristband activation allows you to add emergency contact info to your wristband. All you need to do is enter your wristband ID number and contact info to activate!

Step 2: Register for cashless payments.

Attach your credit card to your wristband and add a secure pin to purchase food, drinks and merch with the tap of your wrist.

Each individual accessing the event must have their wristband registered and on the their wrist at all times. Every wristband will be scanned as you enter and exit the Festival. Please wait until the day of the Festival to put your wristband on and leave it on throughout the entire weekend. Be careful! Wristbands will only tighten, not loosen. Festival attendees are allowed to come and go freely all weekend long while wearing their wristband; however, all wristbands must be scanned upon exit at the gate in order to re-enter that same day.

The following tickets are RFID and will be shipped in advance:

  • All 3-Day passes including Patron, VIP, GA and All That Jazz

  • All single-day passes including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

The following tickets are not RFID and must be picked up from the festival box office:

  • All camping passes

  • All vehicle parking passes

  • All late night passes including the Thursday Opening Show, Jazz After Dark, and The Final Waltz

Wristband Tips

  • If you purchased multiple tickets, each wristband must be registered to the person wearing the wristband.

  • Once activated, put your wristband in a safe place and do not put it on until the festival.

  • Handle your wristband carefully, do not pull it closed before you put it on.

  • When you are ready to attend the festival, place the wristband on your wrist.

  • Pull the tail through the plastic case until only ONE finger can fit between the band and your wrist. Tug on the band slightly to ensure it is fastened and cannot slide off your wrist. Wristbands do not loosen.

  • At the festival gates, scan your wristband at the scanners and wait for security to wave you through.

  • When you leave the festival, remember to scan out. If you forget to scan out, you will not be allowed back in.

  • For on-site assistance with wristbands, please visit our box office located at the entrance to the park (300 E Pacific Street) and our ticketing team will gladly assist you.

  • Treat your wristband like cash – lost, stolen, tampered with, and/or confiscated wristbands WILL NOT BE REPLACED!

  • Do not remove your wristband until you plan to leave the festival for the final time

No No’s

  • Any wristbands that are not applied tightly enough and can slip on/off will be confiscated and will NOT be replaced.

  • Wristbands must remain on your wrist at all times. Do not remove 3-day wristbands in between days!

  • Do not cut, burn, stretch, twist, tear, tape glue, tuck or affect the wristband in any way. Any wristband that has been altered will be confiscated and WILL NOT BE REPLACED.
