Founded by gospel singer Tommy Ellison in 1960 as the Five Singing Stars, this Brooklyn-based group has a rich history. Though Tommy has passed on to the cosmos, the show goes on for this electrifying group. We are pleased to invite this exciting gospel act to our jazz festival. Having performed at our Blues & Brews Festival, we can attest to just how good they are. The Legendary Singing Stars’ brand of gospel is a joyful noise — it’s a sound that will hoist you up on your feet and before long, you will be moved to gratitude and joy. Their spirit is impossible to ignore, so give in to the groove!
