Telluride Jazz Celebration Patrons

Telluride Jazz Patrons enjoy everything the Jazz Celebration has to offer along with the highest level of entertainment and access throughout the festival, starting with the Patron and Sponsor Party in honor of Toshiko Akiyoshi on Thursday, August 5 at The Peaks Resort & Spa in Mountain Village. The Peaks Resort & Spa, our Exclusive Presenting Lodging Sponsor, will host a dinner buffet and cocktail party along with some great jazz. It’s a terrific opportunity to meet fellow Patrons, Artists, and Sponsors and get the very latest information on the weekend’s events. 

Don’t forget to pick up your Patron laminates in the conference room across from the Jazz Office (above Bank of Telluride and next to Town Park). You will be able to meet with Patron Concierges Tracy Boyce and Cindy Manchi who will be available to assist you throughout the weekend beginning on Thursday, Aug. 5, in the conference room at 9:00 am.

Your Patron pass is also your invitation to champagne and hors d'oeuvres at the Patron Pavilion in Telluride Town Park to Open the 34th Telluride Jazz Celebration, on Friday, August 6. The Patron Pavilion is open throughout the Jazz Celebration during festival hours and it is here that you will enjoy appetizers and dinner on Friday, a barbeque and dinner on Saturday, and brunch and dinner on Sunday, plus snacks all times in between. In addition, there is a bar offering special libations from our sponsors. All food and drink in the Patron Pavilion is complimentary.

We've added a special performance as part of our Patron Experience. Join us on Sunday morning for brunch to the accompaniment of the Gospel Hummingbirds. "Spiritually charged, jubilantly rhythmic, genuine gospel... the 'Birds rock the house!" --DOWNBEAT MAGAZINE. The Gospel Hummingbirds leave their audiences hands clapping, dancing in the aisles, singing along and clamoring for more.

Special Stage-side Seating at the Town Park Main Stage is another Patron benefit that is quite popular. You will enjoy very close proximity to the performers and seating is provided in this area for your comfort, including a “quiet tent” for those wishing to enjoy the current performance undisturbed. You have secured access to this area and are welcome to come and go as you please.

The Jazz Society treats their Patrons to first priority seating at all evening venues. Just be there within the designated pre-seating times and you are the first to gain entry to all Jazz after Dark performances including the Sheridan Opera House, the Llama, the Nugget Theatre, and the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon. Saturday evening’s Jazz After Dark performances will be preceded by a Cocktail Buffet hosted by Elinoff Gallery on main street. You will be able to meet this year’s poster artist and purchase signed posters.

Be sure to stay for the Closing Party Sunday evening, August 8. You will want to say goodbye to the jazz lovers with whom you spent this wonderful weekend; enjoy some more sweet and savory appetizers and cocktails with some cool jazz- along with our heartfelt thanks for being a Jazz Patron.
